disk is part of Kumihimo, an ancient Japanese braiding technique that
lets you create round style braids with any flexible cord or wire.
Simply wrap cord around the disk in certain color patterns and continue
to reposition the cord around the rim notches in certain groupings and
directions. The technique is simple and yields dozens of complex and
intriguing patterns.
